I think it takes a lot more than that for people to start getting interested in Hive. 🤔
Yeah, you’re right, putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t change the pig. Hive has real problems and trying to bring more people in for the slaughter doesn’t sound nice to me. lol
Yes, it is the social and common norm in every business/project/work/place that, before promoting a product or space, it has everything that any creator and investor needs. But if your space or product is not fully developed, has many flaws, or has been in beta for several years, then it's difficult to attract good investors.
That's without mentioning the huge number of small and new projects that exist in this ecosystem, which are becoming more and more isolated for the same reason. Everyone thinks that by simply developing, posting, and talking to a couple of followers about your product, you'll achieve everything you need, but that's not the case. There's also the issue of marketing and how they limit themselves too much, seeing Web2 as a taboo while spending thousands of dollars on face-to-face meetings with only a few dozen assistants. Meanwhile, other crypto projects use these Web2 networks to maximize the promotion of their projects and products, investing their money in ads and advertising and inviting interested people to to talk about them on social media like X or Reddit, making more and more people aware of them.
But hey, I'm just a simple creator who, as such, has my complaints and problems with Hive. But that doesn't mean I'm going to say that all is lost and abandon everything because of what I just said here. I am very aware of the good work being done by some projects that have been developing here on Hive for years, but they still have a lot of room for improvement, like everyone else. We ourselves also need to improve on our own and change our view of Hive as something more than just a place to make money and that's it. Hive has a lot of potential for more than that, otherwise we wouldn't be here.
While I'm not saying that a vote on a crypto data site like CoinGecko doesn't help at all, I believe there are better things we can do on our own for the growth of Hive. The main thing that comes to mind is to build our own active and self-sustaining community for the future, but this requires onboarding, which leads to many limitations, but This can be easily solved with good research, expanding our minds to new projects and tools already made within Hive that can help us with this. And of course, always thinking the same way as the newbies who are just starting out on Hive.
It's hard work, yes, but if we don't do it ourselves, nobody else will do it for us.
Sorry for going on for so long. 😅
Si, pero la cuestión no es solo empezar, sino continuar y no quedarse solo en el inicio.
