Yeah, except the fair amount is 0. I don't have the right to force you to pay for anything. I cannot delegate or otherwise transfer that right to anyone else, either. Governments monopolizing certain services doesn't make contribution to whatever they demand moral or rational.
I believe that as everyone that live in a place agree to its right and obligations. If you want no taxes, move to a non taxed country
Rights are inherent in our nature as rational, acting beings. Obligations require informed consent, but governments are strangers who have usurped authority and claim a territorial monopoly in violence and who make arbitrary and ever-changing demands of others.
How do you run your own day-to-day life? Do you respect your fellow man and seek consenting interactions for work and leisure? Society came before governments. Politicians claim we need them to keep the peace, but they plunder us at home while engaging in belligerence abroad.
Society in the past almost all had a form of gov. 1 King/ or equivalent and an army or equivalent.
This were gov too, and i prefer a democratie more than a monarchie
Monarchs were crime lords with a veneer of legitimacy due to propaganda, rituals and titles.
Democratic governments are still the biggest Mafia, but with a veneer of "legitimate business" thanks to elections.
It's still usurpation.
You can blame all systemes, but then once again what systeme should we live in ?
When you remove cancer, what do you replace it with? I don't believe top-down systems can serve society.
Society precedes the State. Decentralized voluntary human interaction works every day. Problems don't justify a permanent criminal class (government) with "legal" privileges.
