Using gimp, means you run linux? Right?
Unfortunately i dont know enough about it.
But if you need some help with photoshoping images, let me know. I might be able to help.
I use GIMP on both Linux and Windows. I lean toward free and open-source software when possible, so I avoid Photoshop itself. I also have Corel Painter, but I only got it because it was bundled with CorelCAD on a Humble Bundle discount a few years back.
Oooh! Then may I suggest, try out Affinity - its compatible with Adobe files and it's free. Its super powerful, like a whole adobe in 1.
It only runs on windows... I was told that it can run on Linux wine, but i haven't tried it yet
I see it's by Canva. I've used their website a lot. I'll have to look into whether it's an offline option I can segregate from their account. I'm not sure how much I trust them to respect data privacy and security.
