I hate the Apple walled garden, but they have good designs, durable products, and solid quality control. There are good reasons for the Apple price beyond the hype machine surrounding the brand.

I'll still be relying on Windows/Android where I must and Linux where I can.

              The basic user experience is great, but as someone who likes to play around under the hood a bit with software and upgrade hardware over time, Apple is not my friend. Microsoft is bad enough.
