I prefer accumulating HBD in my Hive Savings while I wait for our 20 overlords to do something about inflation.
Hive is a stake-based oligarchy and right now are being poorly represented by the elite stakeholders. But I still believe in our long-term development.
on the other hand it has never been cheaper to change the viewpoint that hive is an oligarchy or that witnesses somehow are that. Most of them have barely any stake compared to some longtime authors on hive who've earned and kept stacking
My greatest issue with Hive right now is each account having 30 equal votes while Hive can be controlled by 20 and having the algorithm completely changed with just 17.
That means a single profile can elect all top witnesses alone.

With 1 vote per account that would require at least 20 accounts accumulating enough HP at the same time to elect just 20 witnesses.
1 vote per profile(or at least dilute total HP per cast vote) is more power to all Hiveans.
