OMG OMG OMG.... I finally cracked the code to making 3D models for FREE with zero 3D Modelling know how!
I can convert any image into a 3D model!!!!!
I took Glimmo from #Holozing and turned it into a 3D model!
YUP! I have a "How To" Guide already written up but waiting on the 3D printer to finish printing the files before I post it. which should be any second now....
I was hoping you would see this ;) I got BIG things planned.
Granted the sheer amount of manifold edges in the stl files.... bonkers but I can fix that in Blender.

You got it! I am actually leaving tomorrow for a 4 day work trip... I am going to write the article now and then when my 3D printer finishes it's current job I'll print Glimmo!

nope, I have had Blender for the last 6 or so years, as much as I try I suck at 3D modelling haha

I can run AI models locally on my PC and have then run on my RTX 5070 TI GPU
That is one way to think of it.. I am calling it.. "insourcing" it because it runs 100% local on my PC haha
That is how I justify me sucking at Blender
oh I did not know it will take 2.5 hours to print this? but the result will be so satisfying I think.
Well it will probably take less time as I play more with my 3D slicer settings and reduce the internal structure of the print.
I will SNAP again though with the finished project. I am waiting on my MultiBoard parts to finish printing which is TAKING FOREVER lol
