Bombay Chilli and Me: Bold, Vibrant, and Unforgettable | LOH #256

in Ladies of Hive3 days ago

I believe spices can transform simple dishes into some unforgettable meals. In Bangladesh people always add spices in their curry. Even if it's included in the curry they would still take some extra chilli's beside the plate so they can eat them raw with rice and curry. The reason for adding spices is it increases the aroma and flavor of the food and it makes the food exciting and diverse.

As example, in real life, every human being has their own unique spice in their personality traits, sometimes they can not acknowledge it but others know it very well. Same goes with the individual perspectives, which add richness to the world around them.

If someone asks me to describe myself with a spice ingredient then it would be Bombay chilli. It is fiery and flavorful just like my personality, I am also vibrant and strong. This is the main reason I am thinking of it similar as me.

Bombay chilli is very famous and usually used in "Jhal Muri," there are some recipes which is called "Break Up Jhal muri," the seller adds Bombay Chilli into it, people who got their heart broken they have this Jhal Muri and express their pain with spices. Because the Bombay Chilli creates intense heat and makes the person cry. Bombay Chilli is striking red color and it can bring a bold kick to any kind of dish.

The spices do not get overshadowed by other ingredients rather it demands attention. I find myself in the same characteristic. I do not get easily free into the crowd. Like my existence is noticeable and I always try to leave a good impression on the people I meet. That doesn't mean that I am dominating, it means I have a certain energy which stands out the most, it is similar as the bold flavor of a Bombay chilli.

I also heard people saying that I am short tempered, I feel Bombay Chilli is the same as me. I don't get mad easily and when I do it can be really bad. I am not proud of it, but I find the same qualities in Bombay Chilli's.

So, if I were a spicy ingredient which reconnects with my personality then I would undoubtedly be Bombay chilli. Because it's bold yet balanced.
