Though we all have our preferences when it comes to coffee and tea, I am a firm lover of tea, maybe because the coffee I once tasted had this bitter taste, and it can only be prepared with warm or hot water, but I like drinking something cold, most especially in the hot weather that we are currently in my country. I can easily reach out to Tea any time of the day.
Though when I was younger, my mom usually prepared tea for us; her method was always using the hot water, where she would drop one or two teabags inside a medium cup to diffuse; then she would add milk, some sugar, and if honey was available, she would add it too just to bring out that sweet taste in an already creamy tea. Though nothing fancy, that smell from the teabag product she usually uses then usually fills the kitchen, and it is enough to make us want and crave more then.
But these days, I have my own method of preparing tea. Though I still take hot tea on some occasions, I do more of using cold water from the freezer. If I'm using hot or warm water, I drop just one teabag of some products I often use; I let it stay in the hot water for like 2-4 minutes before removing it because I like it to taste like the product. Then I add a little drop of honey or sugar, and then I add my milk and tea. And if it's for cold water, I repeat the process, but this time, I will not be adding any teabags, only milk, honey, and Milo. Nothing too sweet, just something moderate.
Though I have people who drink coffee around me. My dad does, but personally, I don't like something loud or something that might keep me awake, like I am chasing a deadline. I just like that chill that comes after drinking tea.
Not that I hate coffee or something, but like I said, we all have preferences, and the current weather conditions here won't even allow me to go near it, though I take it once in a blue moon. But as for tea, I can take it anytime I want because it refreshes my body, and I am already thinking of preparing some to drink and cool me down for a bit under this heat.
