Interesting. I have checked around since I saw this post to confirm the traditional name for dragomfruit, unfortunately I couldn't find any .
Humm, I would like to physically search for the fruit at least to see it and if possible, have a taste of it.
Few Asian grocery stores are around my route so my search begins.
Thank you for sharing.
You can find more info in the Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitaya
Wikipedia says it is grown in southeast Asia, but dragonfruit / pitaya is native to the Pacific coasts of Central America, although it has been cultivated in other areas in recent years. GOOD LUCK finding it! 🙂
Woah, this is interesting 😳 🤔.
I have asked few people about it, starting with my colleagues.
The best bet I have gotten is to visit a spar supermarket owned by Asians.
Another option is to visit the Indian Village or their market square around my office.
I have been engaged since morning.
Once I get the opportunity, I will check the Indian Market Square around my office.
If I get it,I'm going to come back with a feedback.
If not, on Monday, I will search further for it.
Just curious about the fruit 🤔 😋
