I hope you have a nice day... This way I share with you my post for this space and I hope you like it and also that you are full of energy and health.

I decided to make some shawarmas, but as I had forgotten some of the ingredients (meat, chicken) I decided to make it with fish and try new flavors.

This consists of thin slices of lamb, beef, chicken or turkey meat seasoned with different vegetables (tomato, onion, cabbage, among others) and their respective sauces.

INGREDIENTS AND UTENSILS:

  • 3 fish (cataco).
  • 1/ 4 of purple cabbage.
  • 1 carrot.
  • ¼ of purple onion in fine feathers.
  • Cheese.
  • Arab or pita bread.
  • Tomato sauce.
  • Mustard.
  • Mayonnaise.
  • Rallo.
  • Chopping board.
  • Spoon.
  • Knife.

PREPARATION:

  • Wash all the ingredients and utensils to be used.

  • In a container place water with vinegar and wash the vegetables (cabbage, peeled carrots).

  • Crumble the fish.

  • Place the chopping board and cut (cabbage, red onion in feathers).

  • Grate the carrot and cheese and place them in different containers.

  • Join the grated ingredients (carrot, cabbage).

  • Place the different sauces (mayonnaise, tomato and mustard) on an Arab or pita bread.

  • Layer the remaining ingredients (cabbage, carrots, fish, cheese and onion slices).

  • Roll up the bread without letting the ingredients come out.

  • Place on a plate for tasting.

This shawarma recipe does not require a grill or a vertical opening; we simply use whatever you have at home, frying it in a pan or roasting it in the oven. Plus, it's very versatile; just use your favorite toppings and vegetables.

Shawarma sold as fast food often includes fatty cuts of meat; and because the meat is cooked vertically, more fat is added to it. This makes it rich in saturated fats, which is detrimental to health.

Sometimes, some of the ingredients used are high in salt or fat, which is also not good for your health.

Hace días en la noche de familia decidí hacer unos shawarmas, pero como se me había olvidado algunos de los ingredientes (la carne, el pollo) opte mejor por hacerlo de pescado y así probar nuevos sabores.

Además esto consiste en finas láminas de carne de cordero, ternera, pollo o pavo condimentada con distintos vegetales (tomate, cebolla, repollo, entre otros) y sus respectivas salsas.

INGREDIENTES Y UTENSILIOS:

  • 3 pescados (cataco).
  • 1/ 4 de Repollo morado.
  • 1 Zanahoria.
  • ¼ de Cebolla morada en plumas finas.
  • Queso.
  • Pan árabe o de pita.
  • Salsa de tomate.
  • Mostaza.
  • Mayonesa.
  • Rallo.
  • Tabla de picar.
  • Cuchara.
  • Cuchillo.

PREPARACIÓN:

  • Lavar todos los ingredientes y utensilios a utilizar.
  • En un envase colocar agua con vinagre y lavar los vegetales (repollo, zanahoria ya pelada).
  • Desmenuzar el pescado.
  • Colocar la tabla de picar y cortar (repollo, cebolla morada en plumas).
  • Rallar la zanahoria, el queso y colocarlos en distintos envases.
  • Unir los ingredientes rallados (zanahoria, repollo).
  • Sobre un pan árabe o de pita colocar las distintas salsas (mayonesa, tomate y mostaza).
  • Juntar los demás ingredientes por capas de repollo, zanahoria, pescado, queso y las láminas de cebolla.
  • Enrollar el pan sin que se salgan los ingredientes.
  • Colocarlo en un plato para degustar.

Esta receta de shawarma no requiere una parrilla ni una abertura vertical; simplemente usamos lo que tengas en casa, friéndolo en una sartén o asándolo en el horno. Además, es muy versátil; simplemente usa tus aderezos y verduras favoritos.

El shawarma que se vende como comida rápida suele incluir cortes grasos de carne; y como la carne se cocina verticalmente, se le añaden más grasas. Esto la hace rica en grasas saturadas, lo cual es perjudicial para la salud.

A veces, algunos de los ingredientes que se usan tienen un alto contenido de sal o grasa, lo cual tampoco es bueno para la salud.
