When I say this is my favourite dish, I'm not joking at all. Yam and Palm Oil, very simple but very delicious. I would like to walk you through the steps of preparing my favourite meal.
A tuber of Yam.
The Yam is peeled.
Cut into irregular shapes and washed with clean water.
Place the Yam in the pot and cover with water. Cook with low heat.
Chop some onions and set aside.
Add chilli powder.
Add Palm Oil and salt.
And place inside the boiling Yam. This is to ensure the Oil melts and the ingredients are distributed evenly.
The melted Oil and ingredients looks like a sauce.
After the Yam is well-cooked and soft, you drain the water and serve with the Oil. Now the dish is ready. Wasn't that simple and easy?
