A Bowl of Comfort Homemade Chicken Pulao

in Foodies Bee Hiveyesterday

There’s something special about homemade food that no restaurant can truly replace. Today, I prepared one of my favorite comfort meals — traditional chicken pulao. The aroma of spices filling the kitchen instantly made the whole house feel warm and welcoming.

Ingredients I Used
• Fresh chicken pieces
• Basmati rice
• Onions
• Garlic & ginger paste
• Green chilies
• Yogurt
• Whole spices (cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, bay leaf)
• Salt & turmeric
Cooking Process:
First, I fried sliced onions until golden brown. Then I added ginger-garlic paste and chicken pieces, letting them cook slowly with the spices. After adding yogurt and green chilies, the gravy became rich and fragrant.

Finally, soaked basmati rice was added along with the perfect amount of water. The pulao was cooked on low heat until every grain became fluffy and full of flavor.
The Best Part ❤️
I enjoyed this meal with fresh salad and homemade mint yogurt sauce. The combination was simple yet incredibly satisfying. Homemade food always tastes better because it carries love, patience, and family traditions.

Why I Love Cooking
Cooking is not only about feeding ourselves; it’s also a way to relax and express creativity. Trying different spices and flavors makes every meal unique.
