RE: Veggie Vision

I respect you for not eating meat anymore. I agree that the immense suffering is something that should be forbidden and it's partially the reason that I don't eat much meat anymore. I try to have eat vegetarian at least half of the week but I don't always succeed due to lack of inspiration or as you know the child that was not a good eater. Things seem to change here so who knows when I can finally cut it out completely or most of the times. I believe every meatless day is one for the win :)

I had less trouble quitting smoking and drinking coffee once than I do with cutting out meat fully.. Thankfully, I learn more about new veggies every once in a while and things are improving :)

Thanks for sharing and I love the picture!

As you know, I was a meat-eater myself before that time. I couldn't even think about a dinner without meat. But times changed, I learned to appreciate more and more veggies and the meat replacements these days are so good that I don't miss the real meat at all. Nowadays I don't want to even think about eating meat as I feel that my stomach was never meant to be a graveyard for dead animals.

Although I do feel, each to his / her own, and every day that someone decides not to eat meat is a win for everything. Just the fact that people become more aware of the fact that a lot of animal suffering is associated with eating meat is a win, that people become aware of the impact that the immense livestock farming has on the environment, and therefore on the climate, that part is very true. Understanding what is going on and how a small change can have major consequences. This is important. If the whole world would eat vegetarian/vegan 2 days a week, it would make such a difference.
