I decided to get serious as I mentioned in a previous post about sticking to a Keto-friendly diet as much as possible for the next 6 months. I started on December 26th with a 3-day plan to just eat Sardines.
Also, I am doing a 5 - 6-hour eating window with only two meals and nothing but water or tea in between. The intermittent fasting will help me to burn more fat calories in a shorter eating timeframe.
The above sardines were eaten at 1:18 p.m. on the 27th for lunch. I added some of my homemade Caribbean hot sauce and tablespoon of MCT oil for some extra zip.

For dinner that evening I chose to have Sardines in mustard sauce which makes it a bit more palatable. I ate those at 5:04 p.m. and my husband had some leftovers from the holidays. I had a 4-hour eating window that day.
Day #3

On December 28th, I had sardines with MCT oil and hot sauce again. I added a few olives too, as I had them in the refrigerator to use up. Lunch was eaten at 12:53 p.m.

Dinner on Dec. 28th was eaten at 5:22 p.m. and I had the sardines in mustard sauce again. This time I added a small piece of ham and some cottage cheese. I wasn't planning on having anything other than the sardines, but I caved on day three. My eating window was 5 1/2 hours for the day.
I still have 4 cans of sardines left so I will continue for two more days and see if I dropped any weight. I'm doing well with not getting very hungry which is helpful for me to stay the course.
Any special recipes or tips from my friends would be most welcome. Thanks for the encouragement and Happy New Year, it's going to be awesome!
