Hello friends, it's been a long time since I shared a story here yeah ?
Now I'm on semester break where I will definitely spend my holiday time at home with my family. When I have holidays I cook my favorite dishes but I rarely eat them. I have a neighbor who sells sea fish or seafood. Because that uncle knew I was on holiday at home and he knew that I really like crabs, so he gave me 2kg of crabs for free without paying. I am very happy and grateful to that uncle.
I immediately told my mother and told her that I would cook this crab that day. My mother said she would tell me the spices and how to cook it but I would cook it. I immediately cleaned the crab and prepared the spices and other ingredients.
✿ ingredients
- 2Kg of cleaned crabs
- 3 cloves of shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 candlenut
- Ginger to taste
- 1 tomato
- Pre leaves and soup leaves to taste
- Chili to taste
- salam leaves / bay-leaf
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Water to taste
✿ how to cook it
- First, grind the garlic, ginger, candlenuts and shallots with a pestle, you can also grind them with a blender
- Grind until smooth
- Then, prepare a frying pan for cooking and fill it with enough water
- Heat the water until it boils
- After that, put the crab in the boiling water
- Then, cover or let the crab sit for a while until all the colors change
- After that, put the ground spices into the pan
- Stir until evenly distributed
- Then, add salam leaves
- Then also add chopped chilies,
- And also 1 tsp ground coriander and salt to taste
- Wait until the spices are really absorbed and don't forget to stir
- Then before the fire is turned off, add the soup leaves and tomatoes
- Then, turn off the heat
- And the crab soup ala seli is ready to be served
With very fresh crabs I am excited to cook and also eat them. I rarely cook heavy food like this, what's more this is also my favorite food which I think I really have to know the recipe and how to cook it. It turns out that cooking crab soup is very simple, my friends. In the past I only knew how to eat it, now I know how to cook it. I hope you also try it at home. don't forget to leave your short message about my blog today. thank you for visiting the seli blog who always learns to cook with her mother.
