Coconut Cookies
This recipe is a baked coconut dessert. I prefer making it at home without eggs as most of the store bought baked cookies contain eggs. There are many ways to make homemade cookies.
Ingredients :-
Refined flour- 1 cup (wheat flour)
Ghee- 1/2 cup (butter)
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Salt- 1/4 tsp
Desiccated coconut- 1 cup
Milk- 2-3 tsp
Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
Method :-
In a large vessel, add 1/2 cup ghee.
And 1/2 cup sugar
Mix them and beat them
(with the help of bitters) prepare a creamy mixture
Now put a sieve in it and put (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt) and sieve it
So that there are no lumps left now Add sugar, cardamom powder and vanilla essence
Now knead the dough with light hands
If needed, you can add 2-3 spoons of milk. Then cover the dough and leave it for 30 minutes.
Now take a ball-shaped dough with the help of a spoon.
Flatten it a little and give it the shape of cookies. All will be ready.
Then roll the cookies in dry coconut powder
And place the cookies on a baking tray
Preheat the oven at 180°C Bake for 20-25 minutes
!
After baking, take it out and leave it to cool
When it cools down, it becomes hard
