soft baked sweet potato cake

Hi foodie friends, how are you? I hope you're all well and able to carry on with your activities as usual. Today, I'm going to invite you to make another sweet potato dish: baked sweet potato cake. I saw the recipe for this baked sweet potato cake online a few days ago, and I was immediately drawn to it. It looked delicious.

And then, midday arrived, and I went to buy the ingredients, like sweet potatoes, liquid milk, and eggs. These are the main ingredients for this baked sweet potato cake. After I bought all the ingredients, I immediately went home and started making it at home, all by myself. Luckily, there was no one else at home, so I made it and ate it later. So, I didn't make a large amount, because this was also my first attempt.

and was my first attempt successful haha we'll just have to wait and see, okay first of all I'll take my oven which I keep in the warehouse, because I rarely use the oven, I only take it out when I need it occasionally, like this for example

After taking the oven, I started to arrange the oven and its buttons, then I preheated the oven for about 15 minutes, while I prepared the ingredients for the cake that I would bake later.

2 sweet potatoes
1 glass of liquid milk
1 egg


Manufacturing procedure



First


First, I peeled the sweet potato skin until clean using a potato peeler, I also grated the sweet potato flesh into long strips.

Second


I took 1 glass of liquid milk, then I broke the egg into the milk and stirred it until the milk mixed with the egg, and the milk turned yellow.

Third


Next, I took margarine and spread it on the baking tray, then I took a sheet of sweet potato and placed it on the baking tray, one sheet at a time, and I added the liquid milk mixed with the egg.

Four


Next, after everything was ready, I baked the sweet potato cake at 170 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat, for 25 minutes or until cooked.

RESULTS

Here it is, the baked sweet potato cake is ready, from the fragrant aroma when it just came out of the oven, it made me feel hungry when I smelled it, and I immediately took a plate and scooped it up to enjoy it, but unfortunately this baked sweet potato cake was still wet, not like I imagined, it seems like my first attempt was a failure hmmm

but after I spooned it and ate it, it tasted delicious, the sweet potato was soft, the egg was also soft, sweet taste mmm, similar to sponge cake and I now know why the sponge cake was moist and didn't want to dry as I imagined, it turned out that I put in too much milk, I should have put in enough milk, until the sweet potato was just wet, I didn't put in 1 full glass, sorry friends.

But if you want to make it, remember, only add enough liquid milk, so the cake will dry quickly and taste much better. Okay?
