Udon noodles, what are udon noodles, hehhee, I don't really know either, guys, but in my opinion, udon noodles are noodles made from wheat flour, which are large and thick and white in color. Usually, udon noodles are typical of Japanese noodles, but it's true that udon noodles are noodles from Japan, so coincidentally last night my son took these udon noodles at the supermarket, he said that eating these noodles feels like being in Japan, hahhaa, my son is always up to something, so as a result I took a portion of these udon noodles and when I got home I cooked them.

To be honest, I am also very curious about the taste of this noodle, I am indeed an Indomie lover but I have never tried noodles like this, I think there are so many Indomie variants nowadays, unlike before when it was only Indonesian noodle brands, now in Indonesia itself there are so many foreign noodle variants that are sent here, I hope the udon noodles taste as good as Indomie in general.

How to make udon noodles is very practical

I made this udon noodle without adding any other ingredients other than celery leaves and cucumber for serving, but when I cooked it I just followed the instructions on the back of the packaging, it was very practical, it only took 3 minutes to cook and it was ready.

The main ingredient

Manufacturing procedure

First

Boil the noodles in 3 cups of boiling water for 3 minutes after draining the noodles. Then set aside.

The noodles are very big and thick, yes, this is a kind of stick noodle from Aceh, the shape is almost the same as this, only the stick noodle is orange, while this udon noodle is white.

Second

Next, boil 1 glass of water, pour in the noodle seasoning, then cook until it boils. After it boils, pour the noodle seasoning into the noodles, and the noodles are ready to be enjoyed.

RESULTS

To serve it, I cut a few celery leaves and placed them on top of the oil and I also cut 3 slices of cucumber, so that the noodles weren't too plain

At first I took a sip of the broth and it tasted a bit salty and spicy. The broth was also savory and very different in taste from the Indomie broth that we usually make. Next I wanted to taste the noodles.

After I tasted the noodles, at first I didn't like it because the taste was a little different from regular noodles, but after the second bite it tasted good too, the noodles were chewy and very soft, especially when eaten with the really tasty broth, plus the red cayenne pepper made my appetite even more aroused today. Heheh.
