But today I will cook this purple eggplant by making it into a chili sauce, or what is better known as purple eggplant with chili sauce.

Materials used
3 small tomatoes
50 grams red chilies
5 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1 shrimp paste
Salt to taste
Manufacturing procedure
First, I chopped the tomatoes, chilies, and shallots into small pieces so they would fit in the blender. Then, I blended all the ingredients, including the shrimp paste, until smooth. Then, I sautéed them with a little cooking oil, I also don't forget to add salt to the seasoning

I cook the chili sauce until it's cooked, then I add the eggplant, don't add too much water, cook until the eggplant is soft.

RESULTS
The eggplant is ready, it's very simple, right? The method is very easy. There are two versions of cooking this chili eggplant. Some people fry the eggplant first and then cook it. Some people cook it directly like I do. If you cook it directly, it takes a while to cook it, but in my opinion, the taste of the sauce is very fresh because the eggplant is not fried first. Basically, there are various versions of cooking this chili eggplant, as I said above.

When it was cooked straight away, I served it with my warm rice, I ate it with a piece of fried fish and the eggplant sambal was delicious, with the aroma and taste of shrimp paste making it even more delicious when enjoyed.
