
To welcome the approaching month of Ramadan, cooking meat and meat soup like this has become a tradition in our area. We usually call it MEGANG Day, where many people go to the market early in the morning to hunt for meat. My mother and I went to the market around 10:00 a.m. WIB to buy several kilos of beef and chicken. I also bought beef bones to make bone soup.
I think beef bone soup is much more delicious and sweet than just the meat itself. Adding the beef marrow bone adds to the delicious flavor.

The beef bone I mean is the cow's spinal cord that I use to cook soup + vegetables. With my own spice mix, I will make a delicious spice mix and with a very fragrant aroma. Today I will cook it alone without the help of my mother's recipe, because I have made this soup before so I can already memorize the spices used in this SOP.
such as shallots, garlic, pepper, nutmeg, and candlenuts, those are some of the spices that are ground, while I don't ground the cayenne pepper, I sprinkle it directly on top of the soup, as well as the tomatoes and other vegetables, I just cut them into pieces and then I throw them into the soup.

Materials used

2 carrots
1 tomato
1/2 cabbage
1 stalk of celery
Cayenne pepper to taste
1 nutmeg
1 tbsp pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 cloves shallots

For the fine spices, I peeled the skin and cut it into small pieces so it was easy to blend, then I washed it clean.

Next, I blended the spices until smooth, while I marinated the meat bones first with salt and lime.

Next, I put water into the pan and boiled the meat and bones until they were boiling and the meat was tender.Next, I cut the vegetables first.

After all the vegetables were cut, I set them aside for now. Then I added the ground spices to the meat and cooked them again until the meat was tender.

RESULTS

This is the result of the beef bone soup, it is very sweet without adding any flavoring, only adding salt, because the beef marrow bones that I bought at the market were freshly slaughtered, so the taste of the meat is very fresh, the broth is also very naturally sweet, the meat is also very tender and very delicious.

We immediately enjoyed it with a plate of warm rice and added a lot of sauce because the sauce is very delicious when slurped and eaten with rice, adding to the deliciousness of every bite of the meat, especially with the whole cayenne pepper if you want it spicy, just bite the cayenne pepper along with a mouthful of rice heheheh deliciousaaa
