There's nothing interesting in our kitchen today so I decided to visit Mama's kitchen. And seriously, Mama's more interesting than ours. She always experiment when it comes to cooking any type of dish and this time she's cooking something for her lunch using saba, different kind of leafy vegetable and squash flowers. Oh yeah, you can already tell that it is a healthy kind of dish no? Which is really good for us, I mean for her, it's "her" lunch not mine. But, I can always sneak some of em ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

And there she is, very busy on her kitchen. When I asked her what's her viand for lunch, she said she's just making a simple dish. It's simple but pack with lots of health benefits y'all. Then I want that simple too! \(^o^)/

She has this unripe bananas that we bought in the Tiange-an yesterday, Sunday. She already boil some of them yesterday and made it as her snack. Then today, she used it for the dish she made. I'm not sure what the dish called but it is Sauteed.

Here's the fresh vegetables she picked in her garden. It has moringa, alugbati, sweet potato leaves and squash flowers. More green leafy vegetable, the more it is good for the body. Righty? Ehe

I watch mudrabels cook the dish for today's lunch. And it is actually quite easy, really just "gisa, gisa" ba. She put pepper in it, salt and a little bit of MSG then she leave it for a minute. After that she mix the vegetables on it.

Mama let it boil for just another minute ir until the vegetables soften and it's done. That's her easy to prepare viand for lunch! Yum, yum!

And because there's still a lot of bananas left in her kitchen I decided to grill some bananas.

To be honest its been a long time since I last had grilled banana. I remember when I was a kid, there's this middle aged woman selling fresh grilled bananas near our old store in the market before and there are times that Mom will buy it.

When I eat it, I love to peel it's skin because I really love the chewy texture of the skin of the banana. And the grilling methods really has good effect on its taste. The banana taste even more better when it is grilled. We don't put anything on the grilled banana when we eat it. We just eat it as is and while it's still hot. Grilled banana is best eaten when it is still hot. Do you agree? Ehe. And the best banana for grilling was this Saba. It's the best!
Seriously, those times I used to eat grilled banana is one of the best time of my childhood. I think I love more those grilled bananas than Mom's bread. Haha. Like i can still smell back then, I can still taste it, and really I love the taste of grilled banana. It is so sad that I can't smell them now but I can still remember it. The smell, the taste and everything. Hahh, doing this, grilling my own banana took me back to those happy times ┏(^0^)┛

By the way, I also grilled the leftover hatdogs from yesterday. Its been a long time too since I last had grilled hatdog too, haha. Like, food taste different when it is cook the other way right?

And there goes my grilled bananas and hatdog. And its piping hot! I eat this after having my lunch. I also asked Mama her Sauteed Banana with Green Leafy Vegetables. Seriously, our viand today is boring and so unhealthy. But hopefully we can prepare something healthy again tomorrow.
