Hello to all food lovers and friends here on Hive! Today is a cloudy day and then late afternoon the rain started to pour. While doing our housechores my eldest daughter and I thought of what we would eat for a snack .Then I remember that I have a pasta on the kitchen cabinet and then I checked also what are the ingredients we have so we can decide what we could cook. We are blessed that we have the other ingredients for a Carbonara but this time I wanna make it with a twist. Who likes pasta? Kids love Pasta and those with a kiddie heart too. Well my youngest daughter who is a picky eater loves pasta. As a Mom of a picky eater I tried my best to cook foods that caught her attention. That way my picky eater daughter would eat well.So this time my Carbonara is with a twist because I wanna add ground pork on the ingredients.

Yes, You heard me right. A Carbonara with ground pork. I wanna say sorry to the one that created the Carbonara recipe because I would make a twist on it to make it catch my daughter's attention so she would eat well. As they have said, “Your Kitchen Your Rules” This is the reason why I like cooking because I can make my own rules. If you love cooking you like to make your own version of the recipe. This is the first time I cook Carbonara with twist with my eldest daughter.
Now let's go to the kitchen to cook our Carbonara with a twist.
CARBONARA

1 pack of Vida sweet Ham
Half bar of Bigtime Cheese
2 packs of Jolly Mushroom
1 can of Alaska Evaporated milk
1 pouch of Alaska crema
Cooking Oil to cook the Ham and to Saute
400 grams of Del Monte pasta
150 grams of ground pork
2 medium pcs of Onions

Half teaspoon of Black ground pepper
Half teaspoon of Salt
PROCEDURE:
*In a pot add water for boiling the pasta, add a tablespoon of cooking oil to avoid your pasta
Stick to each other.
*Bring into the fire and let it boil.
- When boiled, add the pasta and stir it until all pasta goes down the pot and covered with water.
- Cover the pot and let it simmer, occasionally stir it and check the pasta until it reach into al-Dente stage
.
*When reaching the AL-Dente stage remove the pot from the fire and transfer the pasta to a colander and drain the water.
*Wash the pasta to avoid overcooking it.
- Drain the pasta in the colander then set aside.

*Remove the skin of the onions and garlic, wash it.
- Minced the garlic and Onions.
*Cut into cubes the sweet Ham
*Drain the mushroom into a sifter
*Grate the Cheese
*Open the Evaporated can and the creme pouch.
PREPARE TO SAUTE
*In a pan add cooking oil and bring to fire.
*When the oil is hot , add the sweet Ham and cook it.
- Remove the sweet ham and put in a saucer then set aside.
—I cooked the ham first to release the aroma and the sweetness.
*Add the minced onion.
*Add the minced garlic.
*Add the ground pork and mix it and saute.
*Add the black ground pepper, mix well and salt and cover it.
*Simmer it until the ground pork is cook.
*Add the evaporated milk.
*Add the Creamer
*Add the mushroom
*Add the cheese and combine the ingredients.
*Add the cooked ham ,mix and bring to boil.
*Simmer it for ten minutes to cook all the ingredients well to make it creamy.
*Taste it, if you want to make it sweeter you can add sugar gradually according to your taste.
*Lastly, add the pasta to the mixture and mix it well.
*Remove from the fire and our Creamy, meaty and Cheesy Carbonara with a twist is ready to serve.
