Omotesando Cafe, which went viral in Medan, is one of the Japanese-style cafes that offers a beautiful and cozy place and an interesting food menu. This place is located at Jl. Letjen Suprapto No.13, Hamdan, Kec. Medan Maimun, Medan City. The place is strategic because it is on the side of the road.
This cafe is on the 2nd floor, so you have to pass the stairs to get to the cafe. The stairs are also given an interesting treat there are colorful lights that can be used as a background for taking pictures.
Once you enter the cafe, you can really feel the Japanese-modern feel. They open at 8 am - 10 pm. I immediately ordered food because at that time I wanted to close the order because we came at 9 pm. There are many menu variants, ranging from heavy meals, desserts, and drinks that are very interesting.
As the name of the place of course they sell some sando menu but unfortunately at that time the employee said for sando already close order and many have run out too. So I chose to order the Omotesando Matcha Pudding which costs Rp. 45,000,-; Mango Coconut Pancake Rp. 68.000,-; Omotesando Pancake Rp.68,000; Orange Juice Rp. 32,000; Yuzu Tea Rp. 38,000; and Strawberry Parfait Rp. 75,000.
My favorite one is Omotesando Matcha Pudding,
The pudding was very soft, an interesting combination with the matcha pour on top. For those who don't like matcha, I think you can try this because even though it is doused with matcha pour, the pudding is quite neutral because there is also caramel sauce in it, so yummy.
The two pancakes are fluffy and jiggly, perfect for dessert lovers. And for the Strawberry Parfait, it was quite unique with pistachio filling, flakes, and strawberry arrangement and strawberry jam in the center, a mix of sweet and sour.
They also serve other heavy meals, such as steak and various types of rice.
Overall it's okay, the place is clean and cozy for the taste back to each individual taste.
