How I Prepared My Delicious Nsala Soup (White Soup)

in Foodies Bee Hiveyesterday

Hello my foodies lovers how are you all doing, it's weekend already and am happy we made it till today I made a delicious nsala soup which I want to share my recipe with you guys my foodies lovers.

I was thinking of what to cook today and i taught of Nsala Soup and uha but I later choose Nsala. As weekend have reach I need to prepare a sumptuous delicacy that everyone would love. Do well to read my recipe very well because this soup really makes sense and I will you guys to try this recipe.

           My recipe

600g of chicken

350g of assorted meat

3 thick cut of fresh catfish

80 grams of stock fish

Two seasoning

150g of uziza seed

1table spoon of ogiri (fermented low cos Beans)

3 piece uda seed

250g of yam

1½ table spoon salt

1 onion (optional)

3 table spoon of cryfiish

32 pieces of pepper

10g of uziza

10g of utazi leave

1 dry fish

1 uyayak

1 liter of water

My procedure

Firstly I washed my chicken thoroughly, I also washed my assorted meat very well and my stockfish then I put them inside my pot.

Secondly I washed my onions and pepper I sliced my onion and use mortar to blend my pepper.meanwhile while cooking your own you can dicide not to use onion is optional that's why I sliced my onion into smaller size.

Then i added my sliced onions, pepper, seasoning and salt then I turned it very and allow it to steam for like 20 minutes

After 20 minutes I checked meats and it brings out it's own water

After that I bought out my yam and started pilling the back and cut it to my desired choice and sliced in to small and washed thoroughly then I set aside.

Then I poured my uziza seed inside morter and I started to pounding it.

So I after pounded my uziza seed, I added water and washed my dry fish and I added it inside the soup then washed my uyayak add it too

Then I added my yam inside the soup and add my cryfiish, uziza seed, ogiri and uda seed, I didn't pound my uda seed I just put it like that so you can choose to pound or to leave it like that.

I allowed the yam to stay like 10 minutes before I removed it From the soup to pound

Then I washed my catfish and put it inside the soup

After putting my catfish inside my soup, I started molden my pounded yam into small balls and I put it inside my soup and allow it for 10 minutes

Then I washed my uziza leaf and utazi leaf together and sliced it.

Exactly that 10 minutes I put my pounded yam I opened my port and see that the the pounded balls has melted and the soup has thickened then I added my uziza and utazi leaf and my soup is ready guys
