Good afternoon everyone, Sunday is the day for us to enjoy the weekend with the busyness that we have been through with work, right? However, we as women and some wives are very confused about what we should prepare as a daily food menu.
Sometimes I myself am very lazy when it comes to thinking about what I will cook, but it is an obligation that is attached to a housewife to be ready in this matter.
Yesterday afternoon I bought a small cirik fish for Rp. 10.000 My plan is to really want to cook Acehnese sour keeng sauce with this fish,Usually this fish is very familiar and is often brought home by fish sellers because it is very affordable for us at a cheap price while saving money on shopping, right, heheh
I just cooked this cirik fish this morning for my lunch menu and my family, with a simple recipe and a very tempting savory sauce, even though I haven't cooked it yet, it's already Imagine how it feels 🤤
If you are willing, please take the time to read the recipe "ikan cirik asam keeng:
MATERIAL
- 5 ounces of cirik fish
- 1 lime
- salt to taste
GROUND SPICES
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 20 pieces of cayenne pepper
- 3 cm of turmeric
- 1 cm of ginger
- 1 Tablespoon coriander
- ground pepper to taste
- 6 piecesof tamarind
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
- 10 starfruits
- 8 lime leaves
- 8 green chilies
- enough water
First, we give the cirik fish salt and lime to remove the fishy smell, and stir until everything is evenly mixed and let it sit for a while then put it in the pan.
Next, we cut the star fruit into thin slices or according to taste, and for the chilies, just break them in half, or you can slice them thinly.
Next, I grind the spices until smooth and once ready, mix the spices into the pan that already has the cirik fish in it.
After mixing the spices with the cirik fish, stir until the spices are evenly distributed over the fish, and add enough water and adjust it to the contents in the pan.
Wait until it boils first, then add salt and ground pepper to taste according to the spicy taste you want,And also star fruit, chilies and lime leavesand stir again
Wait until it boils again and the sour keeng sauce is ready to be served.
Today's lunch menu is ready, and I think it's very delicious, it's perfect to eat with warm rice, with a savory broth and a sour and spicy taste, it's very yummy, try it For those who like this recipe.
