Turn Leftover Egg Whites Into Crunchy Snacks

Utilizing leftover egg whites after making cookies is an interesting thing. Including making one of the alternative crunchy snacks that must be on the family dinner table.




Hi foodies lovers today I will invite you to process the remaining ingredients from making cookies at home. As we know, cookies are often processed from egg yolks so that egg whites become a lot of leftovers at home. Well because I'm already very bored with fried egg whites today I will utilize them into crispy egg white cheese sticks.

Egg white cheese sticks are a simple snack made from processed flour, cheese and egg whites as the main ingredients. These cookies are salty and the umami flavor of the cheese is delicious. However, to add an extraordinary flavor, I add a little mushroom paste for a more savory result.

Recipe

250 grams flour
100 grams tapioca flour
100 ml cooking oil
75 grams grated cheese
50 grams egg white
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon mushroom stock
90-100 ml water




Cooking Procedure


Step 1

Combine the flour and tapioca starch in a larger container.

Step 2

Then add the grated cheese and also the prepared mushroom broth, Baking powder and salt.

Step 3

Then add cooking oil, you can also replace it with liquid margarine, stir until evenly mixed and knead until smooth, if the dough is not right you can add enough water.

Step 4

Now the dough is ready to thinly roll out the dough, then cut the dough sticks lengthwise with a knife.

Step 5

Then fry the dough lengthwise on low heat until brownish yellow, remove and drain briefly then serve.

Serve cheese sticks with a glass of iced tea or any cold beverage when you want to snack at home with your family. Look at the beautiful result, the yellow is just right with the combination of ordinary ingredients to be very suitable for the tongue.

The texture is very crunchy, the taste is savory and salty and the umami flavor of the cheese and mushroom broth makes it spectacular. You may think it's ordinary, but trust me, it's delicious and you can enjoy it anytime and anywhere. And you know this snack yields so much that we even enjoyed it a few times.
