Did you know that simple dishes are often the most popular menu choices at home? Enjoyed with simplicity and accompanied by the satisfied smiles of family members, they make us even more enthusiastic about cooking.*

One solution for today's lunch is to use what's in my refrigerator. Coincidentally, yesterday I bought some chicken and got a few chicken livers. As a result, I wanted to turn them into a simple dish.

Stir-fried Long Bean with Chicken Liver

Long beans and chicken liver are a combination that is always popular in my area. In our area, chicken liver is always one of the ingredients used in various dishes. This time, chicken liver and long beans are stir-fried together in a pan to create a delicious dish. This dish is not soupy but slightly moist, with the tender texture of the fried chicken liver and the delicious long beans after cooking.

Are you curious about the preparation steps? Let's take a look at the step-by-step preparation.

Ingredients Needed

100 grams of chicken liver
40 grams of long beans
1 tablespoon of turmeric powder
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
¼ teaspoon of salt
2 red chilies
1 tomato
2 cloves of garlic
1 clove of shallot

Cooking Procedure

I cut the chicken liver into small pieces and marinate it with salt, lime juice and turmeric powder for about 15 minutes until it is absorbed.

Fry the marinated liver until dry, but don't use too high a heat so that the liver doesn't become tough.

Result

Just look at the results. The appearance alone makes me hungry. Enjoy it right away with warm white rice and you'll see that you'll eat a lot today. Or you can use it as a filling for your sandwich. I'm sure it will be a perfect match. The combination of chicken hearts and long beans makes it even more delicious and also makes the long beans feel like a luxurious dish.

The flavor is savory, spicy, and umami from the oyster sauce mixed into the stir-fry. As for the spiciness level, I think it's just right when combined with rice. So, if you're not a fan of spicy food, don't worry because this dish is suitable for all palates.
