I never imagined that today I would make caramel pudding, a pudding that I had wanted to try for a very long time, but seeing that the recipe used eggs made me think twice about making it. I don't really like pudding with eggs because of the fishy smell. Even though my husband says it doesn't smell fishy, for some reason I think it's very different. So, this time I deliberately made caramel pudding without using eggs. I didn't add any at all. For maximum thickness, I added cornstarch as a complement.

Even though this pudding didn't turn out perfectly, I'm still very happy. The taste is perfect, even though I'm not satisfied with the height of the pudding. Maybe I'll try making it in a smaller container next time.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for making it.
Ingredients Needed

1 tablespoon of cornstarch
450 ml of water
100 grams of granulated sugar
A pinch of salt
Preparation Procedure
First, make the caramel using 50 grams of granulated sugar. Cook it without stirring until the sugar melts on its own.

Results and Serving

Cut and serve with plenty of caramel sauce. Just look at the beautiful result. The caramel, which was solid when added to the pudding, becomes like a sauce. I am very happy to see it. Everything is so perfect. The sweet and savory combination of the pudding is undeniable. I was thrilled by how beautiful it looked when served on my husband's plate—he even complimented it. Though the cake's height was still quite low in my opinion; perhaps next time I should use a smaller mold.
