Foodie lovers, I will show you one way to cook a dish using instant noodles and duck eggs at home. Since my mother is a duck farmer, I have no trouble getting them.

This time, the menu is making instant noodle pepes. This pepes was inspired by a social media post where I saw a picture of instant noodles wrapped in banana leaves. So, I prepared the ingredients I had at home. I thought it wouldn't be bad at all and would definitely work. If you have trouble finding banana leaves, the best way is to use a mold instead. Let's take a look at the recipe.
Ingredients

1 duck egg
½ tomato
1 stalk of celery
1 star fruit (optional)
1 teaspoon of lime juice
1 clove of red onion
1 clove of garlic
4 bird's eye chilies
2 green chilies
Banana leaves as needed
Procedure For Making
Boil the noodles until cooked. Once cooked, remove and drain.

Finely chop all the raw ingredients, then crack the duck eggs and mix with the lime juice. If using chicken eggs, use 2 eggs.

Then mix the eggs with salt and instant noodle seasoning.

Once all the ingredients are chopped, mix the noodles in another container, then add the chopped ingredients to the instant noodles.

Add the beaten eggs and mix until everything is evenly combined.

Add one to two spoonfuls of the mixed instans noodle to a banana leaf wrapper, then wrap it up.

Then steam in a pot for about 25 minutes until fully cooked.

Result

Serve and open the wrapper once the pepes has cooled down. Look at the beautiful result. The shape is very compact and the texture is very soft. The taste is savory, spicy, and sour all at once, but the fishy taste of the duck eggs is gone because the lime juice stabilizes the egg aroma.

Everything is perfect. I serve this with white rice for lunch. A simple dish where noodles are transformed into something entirely unboring.

Well, for those of you who are confused about how to turn instant noodles into a dish, this method might help you a little. Especially now, in the aftermath of this disaster, when everything is expensive, using noodles and eggs is one of the best ways to save money.
