The unconventional rice was a new twist for me, the layer of nori crumbs with the spilled egg between the rice was the perfect dish to enjoy.

Hi foodie lovers, how about today are you confused about cooking a new menu for your child. Let's take a look at the easy preparation steps for this egg-wrapped rice. I think this will be your child's favorite, especially if you prepare it as a school lunch I am very sure they will finish it.

Egg Layer Fried Nori Rice

This egg-coated nori rice is a combination of nori crumbs which are then fried with a layer of egg. The process of making it utilizes a mold so that the shape becomes uniform and will be very easy for you to do quickly. This dish has different characteristics from the nori rice that I have made before. This rice has an egg coating that makes the dish complete and very easy for you to enjoy.

If you're not a spicy lover, or if you're making it for your kids, skip the chili. Because I am a spicy lover I add chili pepper pieces. However, the use of chili powder or chili oil is also possible, but because I don't have it I use cayenne pepper.

Curious about the preparation steps, let's see below.

Ingredients Used

150 grams of white rice
To taste nori crumbs
1 tablespoon sesame oil
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon mushroom broth
5 cayenne pepper
1 egg

For the egg you can adjust it if it is not enough you can beat off 1 more. Well in my recipe it was not enough I added half an egg for maximum results.

Making Procedure

First prepare the cayenne pepper cut into small pieces and also cut the nori into small pieces.

Then mix the cayenne pepper nori crumbs and also salt and mushroom broth.

Stir until evenly distributed, don't forget to add sesame oil.

Then beat the loose egg, and heat the mold to give a little margarine in the mold.

Once hot, then pour a tablespoon of egg in the mold and then immediately give the rice in the middle cover again with the egg wait until golden yellow.

Nori rice with omelet is ready to be served, look at this, it's really appetizing isn't it? Serve with your favorite sauce, or you can enjoy it directly. Suitable for lunch at home or even dinner and very suitable to be bolted as a lunch to take anywhere because of its small and super shape.

The taste is just right, savory, spicy there is a very authentic taste of nori. The egg wrapper also makes it even better, you know the texture is just right on the tongue not hard and not soft very light. I think this will be my mainstay menu list for my husband's lunch if he goes to the office later. He will definitely be very happy, which I must adjust the portion to his meal portion.
