Easy Way to Make Spiced Grated Coconut Steamed Shrimps

Hi foodie lovers, it's a pleasure to invite you to prepare authentic dishes at home. Based on what is at home, utilizing natural products in the yard will be one of my favorite foods.




This time I will invite you to prepare one of the simple recipes made from shrimp with grated coconut seasoning. Uniquely, I steamed this dish with banana leaves to give it a very different aroma.




Grated Coconut Steamed Shrimp with Seasoning

Seasoned grated coconut steamed shrimp is one of the shrimp preparations that combines simple seasoning with grated coconut. Cooked in a simple banana leaf wrapper and served on your favorite serving platter. It's a simple but delicious dish, with a distinctive aroma, and has a great flavor to serve as a family meal.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients


250 gram prawns
100 gram shredded coconut
3 lime leaves
1 tablespoon butter

Fine Seasoning


3 cloves of garlic
2 cloves of shallots
6 cayenne peppers
2 curly red peppers
3 cm turmeric
1 hazelnut




Making Procedure


Melt the butter in a cooking pan then add the spices and saute until golden yellow.

After a little cold, blend the spices until smooth with a little water.

Prepare the grated coconut and shrimp then chop the lime leaves finely. For shrimp I marinate briefly with kasturi orange juice.

Mix shrimp with coconut seasoning that has been mashed, then add grated coconut.

Add lime leaves and stir until evenly distributed, add a little salt here I add ¼ teaspoon. Then wrap the seasoned shrimp in banana leaves conclude with a stick.

Steam until cooked for about 30 minutes to make sure the shrimp is cooked perfectly.

Serve the seasoned steamed shrimp in your favorite serving container, I enjoy this with hot steamed rice. Look at the beautiful result, just like the appearance, the taste is also very good. The spice blend of shredded coconut wrapped in banana leaves adds a wonderful result. The all-natural blend tastes so good I love it all.

Serving it for lunch with warm rice and vegetable soup is super. The savory, natural sweetness of the shrimp is so perfect umami I really like the taste. Moreover, there is a touch of spicy and special spices that make it even more flavorful, everything is perfect. The citrus leaves also add an amazing impression, the aroma can't lie it's just right.
