Looking for a sweet and crunchy classic snack for your day off? Try turning your leftover white bread into something more delicious with the recipe I'm about to show you.

Turning white bread into a valuable snack is certainly not the first time I've done it. I've tried many white bread recipes at home. Usually, the last 3 to 4 slices of white bread are left in the refrigerator and even thrown away. But not now, I always turn them into various dishes that are not boring.

White bread always tastes delicious when made into any kind of snack. This time, I will turn white bread into a sweet and crunchy snack that is perfect for relaxing. In addition, the snack I am making this time is perfect as a quick snack to replace popcorn when you gather with your family to watch TV together.

Curious about the preparation? Let’s take a look at the step-by-step instructions below.

Ingredients

3 slices of white bread
1 tablespoon of margarine
50 ml of milk
5 tablespoons of granulated sugar

Wait until it cools and serve in a snack basket. Look at how beautiful the result is. Although, in my opinion, the caramel wasn't what I expected—the sugar was too grainy, and the color wasn't as bright as I wanted. I think this was a mistake from adding the milk and butter too quickly, so the sugar didn't fully dissolve into caramel. However, all that is compensated by the delicious taste—I love how sweet it is, the saltiness is just right, and most importantly, the crispiness is extraordinary beyond my expectations.

Well, maybe next time I’ll skip adding milk and make the original caramel. In my opinion, the caramel alone already gives this bread a perfect flavor.

Well, for those of you who want to turn plain bread into a simple snack to relax with but that tastes great, I think this will be an inspiring snack for you. Good luck trying out the recipe. I'm sure everyone will love it, including children.

That was a very nice and economic way of saving food. You recycle the bread and turned it into crunchy and yummy bites. This is my daughter favorite. Toasted crunchy bread with margarine or butter.
