Good evening, dear food lovers.
A few Sundays ago, Ricardo was in a great mood and invited me out to dinner; I had the difficult task of choosing a place, and the good news was that there was no budget limit. I had several options in mind, but one new restaurant I’d seen called “Maxi’s” stood out.
Maxi’s is located on 15th Avenue in Sierra Maestra, San Francisco, Zulia (Venezuela), and offers excellent, comfortable facilities for all kinds of fans: on one side, an outdoor area, and on the other, an indoor space with a pleasant atmosphere decorated with flags of the teams participating in the World Cup. We decided to stay inside to watch the first match between Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
The menu at this place was very varied; there were affordable options and others that weren’t so cheap; it offered everything from appetizers like garlic sticks to tequeños. We wanted burgers, but not the kind we’re used to—rather, ones with a more gourmet or premium style. I chose an American-style burger with onions, which also came with a double patty and cheddar cheese, while Ricardo ordered an American-style chicken burger; both came with french fries.
In less than 20 minutes, our order was on the table; my first impression was that the portion was very small, but as I started eating, I noticed I was getting full quickly; as for the taste, it was unbeatable: you can really tell the quality of each ingredient; the meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the bacon was nice and crispy, and the cheddar cheese melted together with the pickle, the onion rings, and the meat.
While we were eating, we decided we wanted to try each other’s burgers, so since they were split in half, we ate half of each; I also tried the American-style chicken burger. I have to say I didn’t like the chicken because it lacked a bit of flavor, but in a way, this was made up for by the number of cheese sticks it came with.
We were satisfied and happy with our burgers, even though the price we paid was higher than usual; the important thing is that we didn’t have a dining experience that was out of this world—especially since we love eating burgers.

Hace varios domingos, Ricardo estaba muy feliz y me invito a cenar, tuve la difícil tarea de elegir un lugar y lo bueno es que no había un límite en el presupuesto, tenía varias opciones en mi cabeza pero resaltaba un nuevo sitio de comida que había visto llamado: "Maxi's".
Maxi's se encuentra ubicado en la avenida 15 de Sierra Maestra en San Francisco, Zulia, Venezuela, cuenta con excelentes y cómodas instalaciones para todo tipo de comodistas por una parte un espacio al aire libre y otro interno en donde tienen un ambiente agradable decorado con banderas de los equipos que están participando en el mundial de futbol, nosotros decidimos quedarnos adentro para ver el primer juego de Costa de Marfil y Ecuador.
El menú de este sitio era muy variado habían opciones económicas y otras no tanto tenía desde entradas como palitos de ajo hasta tequeños, nosotros queríamos hamburguesas pero no como a las que estamos acostumbrados sino otras con un estilo más gourmet o preminum, yo elegí una hamburguesa americana con cebolla, que trae además doble carne y queso sheddar, mientras que Ricardo pidió una hamburguesa de pollo con estilo americano, ambas incluían papas fritas.
En menos de 20 minutos nuestro pedido estaba en la mesa, mi primera impresión fue que su tamaño era muy pequeño, pero al empezar a comer noté que me estaba llenando rápidamente, ahora su sabor fue incomparable se nota el nivel de calidad de cada uno de sus ingredientes, la carne estaba perfectamente cocida y aliñada, la tocineta bien crujiente y el queso sheddar estaba fundido con el pepinillo, los aros de cebolla y la carne.
Mientras comíamos decidimos que queríamos probar la hamburguesa del otro, así que como estaban divididas en dos comimos mitad de cada una, así que también comí de la hamburguesa de pollo al estilo americano, debo decir que no me gusto el pollo porque le faltaba un poco de sabor, pero de cierto modo fue recompensado con la cantidad de dedos de queso que traía.
Quedamos satisfechos y conformes con nuestras hamburguesas, aunque el precio que pagamos fue más elevado de lo que acostumbramos, lo importante es que no llevamos una experiencia gastronómica de otro nivel y más si nos encanta comer hamburguesas.
