Good evening, everyone.
When I got back home from school, I was very hungry and I looked for some snacks in the fridge. I saw my mom bought some sticky rice cakes like biko, sticky rice on stick and palitaw. I asked if I could eat some and mom said, she bought them for me.
I started tasting the sticky rice on stick. My mom said it's called tinudok in Ilokano. I love it. It's crunchy and a little chewy and sweet. It is shaped in round and I think they fried it with brown sugar on top. I finished the 3 sticks. One stick has 3 pieces on it. Then I tried the biko. There were 2 pieces, one for me and one for my mom. This is also my favorite. It is steamed sticky rice with coconut milk, butter and sugar. I see biko every ocassion or parties here in the Philippines. The last one is the palitaw. This is the white sticky rice with shredded coconut and white sugar on it. I think this is steamed also. Do you like sticky rice cakes like I do?
