Hola a todos, como se encuentran? Hoy quiero traerles una bebida muy refrescante, con un toque ácido y dulce, ideal para cuando lleguen a casa de realizar ejercicio, o despues de un dia muy largo, a base de parchita o maracuya y miel de abeja. Lo bueno de esta receta, es que podrás almacenar la base de la bebida, para poderla hacer cuando tu quieras, simplemente agregando un poquito de agua carbonatada.

Otra cosa muy positiva es lo facil que es prepararla, pues no necesitamos sino un envase y un cuchillo, aunque si quieres intensificar los sabores de la parchita y la miel, pues cocinarlas antes de almacenarlos por unos minutos a fuego bajo, logrando un mucho mejor resultado.

Ingredientes / Ingredients:

  • 5 Parchitas o Maracuya / 5 Passion Fruit
  • 1 Botella de Agua Carbonatada o con Gas / Bottle of Carbonated or Sparkling Water
  • Miel de Abeja / Bee Honey
  • 2 Limones / 2 Lemons
  • Hielo / Ice

Preparación / Preparation:

1- Empezaremos por preparar la base de la bebida / We will start by preparing the base of the drink.

Lo primero será lavar muy bien las parchitas, para luego realizarles un corte por el medio, descubriendo las semillas y la pulpa.

The first thing will be to wash the passion fruit very well, and then make a cut in the middle, revealing the seeds and pulp.

Aquellas con un color mas intenso, casi llegando al naranja, seran las mejores, ya que estan mas maduras, con un sabor mas marcado.

La parchita vamos a almacenarla en un frasco de vidrio previamente esterilizado con agua caliente, para asegurarnos que nos dure más tiempo en la nevera, disminuyendo los riesgos de que le salgan hondos o se dañe la fruta. Tambien debe tener una buena que tapa, que la someteremos al mismo proceso.

We are going to store the passion fruit in a glass jar previously sterilized with hot water, to ensure that it lasts longer in the refrigerator, reducing the risk of it coming out deep or damaging the fruit. It must also have a good cover, which we will subject to the same process.

Luego vamos a agregarle la cantidad de miel que nos parezca adecuada, ya agregue 3 cucharadas para este frasco, mezclandolo todo muy bien, para reservarla durante toda la noche en la nevera.

Then we are going to add the amount of honey that seems appropriate to us, add 3 tablespoons to this jar, mixing everything very well, to reserve it overnight in the refrigerator.

Otra cosa importante, que es mas un consejo, busquen una zona con una temperatura adecuada para guardar la miel, ya que en mi caso se cristalizó por guardarla en la nevera, y utilizarla no ahora no es tarea tan sencilla, jaja.

Another important thing, which is more of a piece of advice, look for an area with a suitable temperature to store the honey, since in my case it crystallized from keeping it in the refrigerator, and using it is not such a simple task now, jaja.

Previo a esto, tambien podemos cocinar por unos minutos la mezcla, buscando intensificar las sabores, como ya mencioné anteriormente, ya que se realzaran los azúcares, disminuyendo el agua de la mezcla.

Es momento de armar nuestra bebida / It's time to put together our drink.

Una vez que paso el tiempo de la parchita en la nevera, es hora de montar la bebida. Vamos a agregar dos o tres cucharadas en un vaso hondo.

Luego vamos a agregar hielo hasta arriba del vaso, de manera que cuando sirvamos el agua con gas, esta sea lo mas refrescante posible.

Servimos el agua con gas hasta el borde del vaso, para luego revolver muy bien y lograr combinar todos los sabores.

Por ultimo, le puedes exprimir medio limón si quieres un poco mas de acidez, aunque siendo sincero, ya asi simple esta muy bueno, pudiendo ser mas util el limon cuando tostamos un poco la miel y la pachita en el sarten, ya que esos sabores azucarados se intensificaran aun mas.

Finally, you can squeeze half a lemon if you want a little more acidity, although to be honest, it is very good just like that, and the lemon may be more useful when we toast the honey and pachita a little in the pan, since those flavors sugary foods will intensify even more.

This combo is definitely refreshing! I love making this but sometimes I added a dash of vodka for some kicks haha
