Greetings, Community!
I enjoy sharing the story behind each dish I prepare. It's a way of creating, assembling, and combining ingredients—a beautiful, effortless activity. It's a pleasure to do.
I set out for my usual morning walk, but this time I changed direction and location. I headed towards Plaza Bolívar. On my first lap, I came across a mango tree (a "dudú" mango tree, as we say in Venezuela). Just as I was passing by, several mangoes fell to the ground. I love them, and since they had just fallen, I could grab them even faster. Of course, I expressed my gratitude to nature and to this tree.
On my second lap, more mangoes fell. They ended up in my water bottle. As I walked, I remembered that yogurt can be used to make a small but delicious dessert, so I decided to pop into a Chinese store and bought some natural yogurt.
Upon arriving home, I picked some local mangoes from the block where there are several plants; nature then gave me a supply of dudù and local mangoes.

Para esta delicia tropical se utilizó:
1 yogurt natural de 160g
2 mangos criollos
2 mangos dudù
2 cucharaditas de gelatina sin sabor
4 cucharadas agua caliente para disolver la gelatina sin sabor.
For this tropical treat, I used:
1 160g natural yogurt
2 local mangoes
2 local mangoes
2 teaspoons of unflavored gelatin
4 tablespoons of hot water to dissolve the unflavored gelatin.

Se procedió de la siguiente manera:
The process was as follows:
The pulp of each local mango was scooped out and blended. The resulting mixture was then strained to remove any fibers and ensure a smooth texture.

After straining the pulp, the unflavored gelatin was dissolved in 4 tablespoons of hot water.

Once the gelatin was dissolved, I first combined the yogurt with the mango pulp. Then I added the dissolved gelatin.

Cut the mango into chunks and prepare the containers for the mixture. Place some of the chopped mango at the bottom of each container. Then, pour the mixture into the containers and divide it between them. Finally, add pieces of mango on top and refrigerate for two hours, or three hours if you prefer, until very cold and firm.

The tropical delight is ready! Firm yet incredibly smooth on the palate, with the rich flavor of mango, and the added health benefits of gelatin, mango, and yogurt, each with its own unique properties.
