There are still a few kinds of apples that I have yet to try, but so far, my favorite is granny Smith. And when I can't find it in the store, I buy galas. Here we don't buy them by the basket--which does happen with mangoes, for example, if you buy them directly from the farmers--but we pay about $4 for a kilo when there is a good deal.

I love seeing so many apples together. Yum-yum!

        I have never tried 'Granny Smith' in my life! Just imagining the taste makes my mouth water already, hahaha. I love visiting the farm market because they have a good selection of fresh apples and vegetables like you said.
