I have never tried chestnut purée, it was surely exquisite, it's a shame that I live so far away. I have eaten chestnuts and rarely, in Cuba there are none, and they don't sell them either, it's a shame because they are very tasty. If one day I am sure I will prepare that recipe, thanks @mipiano.         It is a shame there are no chestnuts, but so many other fruits grow in Cuba that we don't have here. When you lived in the Soviet Union, did you get the chance to find chestnuts there?
