Galunggung Forest View
Sometimes it surprised me how big Indonesia is. There are many nook and crannies I might have not visited including this area called Galungung mountain. In this forest view, there are many hot springs and cafe popping up around the area. One in particular and most modern and sleek is Jeda Coffee and Eatery.

Jeda Coffee and Eatery
If you're looking for a place to sit down, enjoy the weekend and having some great cup of a coffee, Jeda Coffee and Eatery is the best place to go in Tasikmalaya. It offers amazing forest view with modern amenities and architecture around the area. As you can see below, it looks stunning overlooking the surrounding hills of Mt. Galunggung.

I stayed there not only for the coffee but also the meals. The coffee in this cafe uniquely comes from East-Java rather than Bandung. The coffee itself was definitely one of a kind. It feels just like modern cafe in the city. With the price offered, it's definitely worth it. I sampled their magic and it tasted just as it is being served in the cafe where I live.

Most of the menu in the place is also western menu. They have pretty big portion and flavorful. I didn't really expect that in such a place, they would serve very delicious meal. I ordered Zuppa soup and it was fresh. For my main, I ordered a simple chicken Cordon bleu and the most delicious and well season was the wedges. It tasted as if they added a dash of truffle oil and some secret oil to it that made it different from other places.
Anyway, I'd recommend this for people from all over not just local because of its taste.

Having a lunch with this kind of view was a unique experience on its own. I was definitely lucky to have been blessed trying and knowing this place. It was also almost a week I was in Tasikmalaya through it all, I also visited a place with this kind of view, which was truly a worth remembering experience.

There's also swimming pool and small resorts in the area which is a work in progress. The management told me that in the future, they plan on expanding their line of business. Perhaps, one day I get to be lucky enough to stay in their resorts. There's one thing though, I was really unfortunate because it was cloudly that day and couldn't see the clearer view of Mt. Galunggung. It would've been awesome if we could see that.
I had such a great experience in the place and it's also one of the cafe that is working friendly. Just bring your laptop and work with this kind of view.

I'll have to tell you more about my experience in Tasikmalaya and how hospitable they are. It's one of the underrated gems in West Java and its people are truly curious and humble.
