I thought that blood sausage was black pudding or that they are the same thing but im not sure and maybe I'm getting the name wrong. 🤔

The sweet potatoes here are actually more orange, more vibrant orange. Like the color of butternut squash. I've never seen greenish ones. I've seen purple though but they aren't overly common here.

How you describe the blood sausage sounds like what they call black pudding here, so it's more than likely the same thing, or names that they use interchangeably.

Purple might be what they call Ube in the Philippines... they use it to make ice cream there and it's like a delicacy...

We have purple yams in Jamaica, too, but I'm not sure what they call them.

18 different kinds of yam!? 😜

I'm not keen on yams, but I do like sweet potatoes... and yes, the ones in the UK are more orange like squash.

Okay yeah I think those purple ones are the same as what I've seen here. I've never tried cooking them myself. Ice cream would be cool. I'd try that 😋

So many yams lol.
Sounds like the UK ones are the same as what we get in Canada
