Hahaha... Some Italian Quote recipes also use chili, but it's never gonna be as spicy as indonesians would like it 😝.
In the past I also always bring some sambal ABC everywhere I go, just in case the western food I'm gonna eat outside is not so agreeable to my taste bud.
With sambal, even the mediocre cooking will surely turn out to be much better 😝.
However after awhile I somehow understand that too strong spices would spoil the original taste of the main ingredients.
If you have Wagyu steak, Angus Beef, Lobster or Wild Salmon for example... it would be a pity to cover their exquisite taste with strong spices.. especially if you're not making a stew.
Just like this recipe, if I'm using Pecorino Romano and Parmigiano Reggiano, it will be too pity if I destroy it with too much chili or sambal LOL.
The ingredients are just too precious 🙈.
Sambal will be needed for something else hehehe.
