Sweet Moments, Sweeter Bonds: My Sister Made Mango Float

in Foodies Bee Hive7 days ago

Happy Monday Hivers!

Because of the unpredictable weather lately, I’ve been feeling unwell most of the time. Although I still have enough strength to go to work, it’s not the same as the days when I’m full of energy. There are things I really love to do, but since I’ve been feeling weak and sluggish, I end up not being able to do them.

Just like what happened last week, my sister and I agreed to make mango float. So after she got off work, we went to the supermarket to buy all the ingredients. The plan was for her to make it while I take the photos. But when we got home, I suddenly felt weak and just lay down, so in the end, while my sister was making the mango float, I wasn’t able to take any pictures at all.

Taking photos is one of my absolute favorite things to do, but I realized that no matter how much you love doing something, when your body isn’t feeling well, you’ll naturally choose to rest over doing what makes you happy. After all, how can you truly enjoy what you love if you’re not feeling well?

So aside from putting God first, our top priority really should be taking care of our health — because we can’t fully enjoy if we’re not well.

The next day, I was already feeling much better. So after breakfast, I got excited — not just to finally eat the mango float but also to take pictures of it. Even if you’re not an expert at making mango float, it still tastes delicious, thanks to the perfect combination of milk and mangoes.

My sister and I are exactly the same — we both love mango float. She told me that one of her officemates was selling mango float, but it was quite expensive. So she said that to save money, she’d just make her own. Since we were both craving mango float, we agreed to make one.

Do you also have moments with your siblings where you agree on what to do or what to cook? It’s during times like these that I realize how nice it is to have siblings, you don’t have to look far for companionship because you already have someone to do things with. But of course, it’s still wonderful to have friends too, because they also add color to our lives.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!

It is one of the best, so follow me as I will be featuring my experiences of the stuff that I am passionate with.

So happy that you'll have time to get bond with your sister. Its a good thing that you're both interested in making desserts. In this way you feel so much closer with each other..Oh !Love the mango float ever!

We really try to find ways to spend quality time together since we don’t live in the same house and only get to see each other occasionally.
