Greetings my friend's, it's been a rainy day in my region since yesterday. What's the weather situation in your region?
So to spice up things and enjoy the weather, I made an Italian wheat pasta, it's a new brand my husband got and I created a delicious meal full of flavors with it. I also used palm fruits, hence the reason for it's bright colours even without tomato paste.
Pasta or spaghetti is one meal I enjoy a lot, and I try to explore different recipes with it to enjoy my pasta in different ways. I also used chicken stock, eggs and fish to heighten the flavor and it came out very delicious.
Ingredients
▪︎500g Italian wheat pasta
▪︎ 3 onion bulb
▪︎ 1 seasoning cube
▪︎ 1kg Mackerel fish
▪︎ 1 egg
▪︎ 2 carrots
▪︎ 1 cooking spoon palm oil
▪︎ 100g fresh chilies
▪︎ chilli sauce
▪︎ chicken stock
▪︎ garlic sauce
▪︎ salt
COOKING PROCESS
STEP 1
Place a pan with 3 cups of water and bring to a boil, I added my egg to cook at the same time and spaghetti. Allow to cook for 5 minutes and drain out starchy water.
STEP 2
Prepare onions, chillis and carrots and set them aside.
STEP 3
Using the same pan, put 1 cooking spoon of palm oil, when hot, add onions, carrots and chili peppers. Allow to fry for 1 minute and add chili sauce, garlic sauce and seasoning cubes.
STEP 4
Now add the chicken stock and the drained pasta. Stir to incorporate all ingredients and cook for 3 minutes.
At the point, the aroma of the food was everywhere, and we just wanted to eat it already. I grilled my fish using my microwave and removed my eggs from its shell. Yeahhh it's ready to be enjoyed, delicious, flavourful, and nourishing.
