Delicious and crunchy cornmeal cookies with candied fruit

Hello, good afternoon, my friends. I hope you are all well. I want to share with you how to make delicious, crunchy cornmeal cookies with candied fruit. They are very tasty, and you will love them.

Ingredients I use to make my cookies:
-Milk (2 tablespoons)
-Cornmeal (2 cups)
-Egg (1)
-Butter (2 tablespoons)
-Sugar (half a cup)
-Vanilla (to taste)
-Candied fruit (to taste)

Here are the steps to make our cookies:
First step: Start by adding two tablespoons of butter and half a cup of sugar to a convenient container. Mix both ingredients together so that the sugar is well incorporated into the butter.

Second step: Next, add one egg to the mixture and begin to mix it in with a spatula, whisk, or, as in my case, a spoon.

Step three: In our third step, we will continue by adding two tablespoons of powdered milk and vanilla to taste. I only used a small capful. Mix well again with our spoon.

Step 4: Once all the flavors are combined, add the corn flour little by little while mixing. I used two medium cups of flour. Add little by little until the mixture is no longer sticky and can be molded with your hands.

Step 5: Finally, continue adding the candied fruit, which will give the cookies an additional delicious flavor. Mix it into the dough.

Step 6: Next, take a baking sheet, grease it with butter, and start placing the cookies on it. In my case, I made them round. I also saved a little bit of candied fruit and placed it on top for decoration. Once ready, bake the cookies for 17 to 20 minutes.

That's how I made my crunchy cornmeal cookies. With the amount of ingredients I used, I got 25 medium and small cookies, ideal for snacking and sharing with family and friends.
