Assalamoalekum and hello to my #foodiesbehive community. Welcome to another blog. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well.
I always try to enjoy my weekend and make it foody as always. I love organic natural food. Artificial food has never been my choice because I am villager that's why I don't like fast food or artificial food.
Today was Sunday and Sunday is always a fun day for me. I enjoy Sunday with my family at my residence. People call me why you spend most of your time at home and don't prefer to go to the so called restaurants. I always say that home cooked food is far better than restaurant or hotel food. I prefer quality qnd tasty food over artificial and ordinary street food. Unfortunately most of street food in my country Pakistan is not upto the mark. They don't comply with the health hygiene.
Today we cooked some delicious healthy organic food at home and planned to enjoy it at our lunch time.
First, we prepared colorful sweet vermicelli at home. It turned out to be very delicious, rich in taste, and perfectly made. The vermicelli was cooked in milk, and sugar was added to enhance the flavor. It was gently heated on the stove and got ready in a short time. After cooking, it was placed in the refrigerator for about one to two hours to cool down.
Later, it was served in a bowl and eaten with a spoon. I personally tasted it and found it extremely delicious and flavorful. Here you can see delicious vermicelli in the pictures below 👇.

Last night, we planned to prepare fresh yogurt at home using pure milk. By morning, the yogurt had set perfectly, and we separated butter and lassi from it. The butter was collected on one side, while the lassi was kept separately. All three organic items—yogurt, butter, and lassi—were then served on the dining table.
The yogurt tasted extremely delicious, especially when eaten with fresh butter and traditional tandoor roti, which was also very flavorful. Along with this, lassi was also enjoyed. Churned village lassi has its own unique taste and is considered a special and famous rural delight.
In villages, people commonly drink this lassi at lunchtime. It has a cooling effect on the body and is very beneficial for health. Such pure organic foods are rarely available to people living in cities. That is why villagers are generally healthier, as they consume natural and organic food instead of artificial and fast food. I feel fortunate and grateful to live in a village where I can enjoy these natural and healthy foods.

Then, we prepared a famous chutney at home that is very popular in our village. The ingredients were simple: fresh mint, tamarind, onions, and green chilies. All these ingredients were thoroughly crushed together in a mortar until a smooth and flavorful mixture was formed.
This resulted in a very delicious and unique chutney. It was served with traditional tandoor roti, and we truly enjoyed eating it together. The taste was rich, spicy, and refreshing. This chutney is a special homemade recipe that village people often prepare themselves.
Unfortunately, people living in cities rarely get the chance to enjoy such organic and natural foods. Rural people make these fresh items at home and fully enjoy their taste. This chutney greatly enhanced the joy of our weekend lunch and made it even more special.

After that, in the next step, we prepared a fresh salad. The salad included cucumber, tomatoes, capsicum, green chilies, and lemon. All these ingredients were combined to make a large bowl of salad.
We enjoyed this salad along with our meal. It is something we usually have at lunchtime every day. The salad was very tasty and refreshing, and it is also highly beneficial for health.

When it comes to vegetables, my favorite and one of the most delicious dishes is potato and bitter gourd (Aloo Karela), which we prepared at home this weekend. It turned out to be very tasty and full of flavor. We enjoyed this dish at lunch, and it was truly delicious and satisfying.

If you live in a village and still haven’t enjoyed these kinds of dishes, you are truly missing out. You should definitely try these organic foods and prepare them at home, because they are incredibly enjoyable and full of natural taste.
Many people spoil their health by constantly eating outside food, but with a little effort, we can prepare organic and natural dishes at home. This not only keeps our stomach healthy but also helps us stay fit and active. At the same time, we get to enjoy these delicious meals.
With a bit of effort, you can easily make these dishes at home and truly enjoy them. In the end, I am sharing pictures of all the dishes that were part of our weekend lunch. I hope you really like this food blog. If you enjoyed it, please share your thoughts in the comment section. Thank you very much.
