Hello foodies!

Today's blog is going to be different from rest of the blogs cause in this blog I'm m sharing a recipe which is close to my heart cause during childhood at my school days, most of the time, I used to stay with my grandmother and she used to prepare all the three time meal for us( me,my brother and herself)

We were children's and we used to eat multiple times in a day and she was always ready, it never happened that she found it difficult to prepare meal for us cause she has her own ways. And in today's blog, I'm going to share a recipe which is exclusively my favorite and close to my heart.

As I mentioned, my grandmother was always prepared so in this blog, we are going to make pancakes with help of besan and we also need chapati, which is commonly found in Indian household. It is a bread made up of wheat flour.

Ingredients

Water
Besan(Gram Flor)
Chapati
2 Tomatoes
2 Green Chilly
2 Onions
1/2 Spoon Coriander Power
1/2 Spoon Red Chilly Powder
1 Spoon Salt
Butter

Well these are all the Ingredients I have used , but you can also use coriander leaves some veggies according to your likings. If I suggest it would be carrot, capsicum and cauliflower along with green coriander leaves.

Ever if all these veggies are not available, didn't panic cause it also taste better without them. I haven't added them cause here I'm preparing it for my brother and he is not a big fan of veggies.

Procedure

Take 2 onions and 2 tomatoes and chop them down. Along with it also chop some green chilly according to your likings. With the quantity I have mentioned , it is easily possible to prepare the meal for two.

Now take 2 cup basen in an open pan and all the chopped stuff into it.

It looks so colourful, an along with veggies it becomes more vibrant. Let me show you the basin that I have used to prepare this.

You can use any basan unavailable at your home to prepare this.

After mixing it properly along with water , this is how it's going to lock. Now we have to add , according to test and coriander powder and 1/2 spoon red chilli powder.

IMG-20250526-WA0018.jpg

Now it's time to take out your leftover chapati and in one side of the chapati, we have to apply this paste evenly. Just like i'm doing it.

Now turn on the gas and put a pan over it. Let
It heat 42 minutes and then apply butter over it.

IMG-20250526-WA0021.jpg

This is the butter I have used, you can use whichever you like. Somebody are already salted, so you have to keep that in mind and had to add salt accordingly.

Now put it into the pan and let it cook for 2 minutes. One another reason I like this recipe is cause it doesn't take much time. You need time to chop the veggies and then you only have to apply the paste over the chapati. Hardly it take ten minutes to prepare them.

This is how it finally looks and it tastes delicious, it's also crunchy And you can have it with tea or the green chutney. We had it with milk, and it tadted heavenly.

And here I am, proudly showing you all a dish close to my heart that I prepared after so long. All these pictures are taken by may , except mine which are taken by my brother.

Hope you enjoyed reading this and you learn something new. Do give it a try and let me know if you like it. It's similar to chaila but it tastes much better than that. Also it's rich in protein and good for those who goes to gym. One of the major problems that Vegetarian face is their protein intake which is insufficient but with this instant recipe which is high in protein you can heal your cramps.

Thank you for stopping by.

Wow. Looks so delicious. Thanks for sharing such a delicious recipe with us.

Thank you so much @parvkhuller

I've had this one without the leftover chapati and it tastes amazing. It's called 'besan ka pura' in Punjabi. Thanks for sharing 👍

It's called 'Chila' in Himachal without chapati.
Thank you for reading.
