I never tried this from scratch before, although I've seen recipes for them here and there.

I don't know if they still exist or not, but a few years back there was some from .... maybe Duncan Hines. I think there was enough for two or three, but in individual packets. Their lemon cake and glaze wasn't too shabby for something you could do in a cup in just a few minutes and no chance of over eating. LOL
