Chicken Satay

Good afternoon, friends of @foodiesbeehive and @foodiesunite Happy New Year! May this year bring blessings in all our hopes.

This time, I'll share with fellow foodies how to make chicken satay.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 kilo chicken

  2. Garlic (10 cloves) + Shallots (10 cloves) + Turmeric (7 cloves)

  3. Homemade bamboo skewers

  4. Soy sauce

First, let's make the marinade. To make the marinade, simply blend the two ingredients: garlic, shallots, and turmeric until smooth, or for a quicker process, you can use a blender. Don't forget to add salt and pecin (soy sauce) to taste. Mix the ground spices with warm water, then soak the chicken for fifteen minutes to allow the marinade to penetrate. See the photo below 👇

Next, the chicken, which has been marinated in water mixed with spices, is cut into small pieces the size of garlic cloves or dates. These pieces are then skewered on satay skewers. Soy sauce is also used to mix the spices, especially if you prefer a sweeter dish. For more details, see the photo below:

After that, the chicken pieces are skewered on skewers and grilled on the grill. It takes about 15 minutes to cook the chicken satay.

Good luck, and let's eat some chicken satay!

Thank you very much for your attention. I apologize for any shortcomings in this method. I'm not very good at writing.
