Hello there my lovely hivers!!!
As someone who loves to cook, I experiment with some foods to cook. It's like my first thing to do a kind of cook that has vegetables on it. Ever since, I felt nervous to cook some dish and what if on my mind like what if they don't like the food that I cook. But now when there's no people in our house, it made me want to cook the dish I badly wanted to make.
In our Grade 12 days one of our teachers, had a project on us called the Business Proposal. We had to make a type of dish that could be dessert or anything that can be sold. A thing, dessert or food. This proposal needs 2 people and I don't know whose my partner is. One my classmate told me that if we could be a partner on the business proposal and I am the one who will make the crochet. He proposed to me that our business was crochet and I didn't take it seriously since I thought he was only joking. As days passed by, I kept finding who my partner was and I found my classmate who knew how to cook a cupcake. Long story short the business that we propose was cupcakes and my classmate still holds that hope that we will be a partner. He was disappointed in me but I think that the cause of that was we didn't communicate further.
My friend, on the other section cooked a dish that was really tasty. It's my first time to taste that dish and I didn't know the name of the dish. I thought that they mix it with meat but I was surprised when they told me that it was an egg. If you're in my shoes at that time, I can't believe what I just tasted so I talk with my friend and I ask what ingredients they used and the step by step process.
She sent it to me without hesitation, including those ingredients and the step by step process. But I was so busy and I didn't have time to cook it and it's been a year since she sent it to me. I kept scrolling on my phone and I found it, she sent it to me february 4,2024 and I screenshot it on april I put it on my favorites so I can easily see it.
It's just a coincidence that we had the ingredients in our ref and that made me happy that I can finally cook the dish I wanted to cook.
I then prepare the ingredients that she sent on me.
1 cabbage
1 egg (optional, if you want to make your dish look yummy it's better to have a lot of eggs)
1 oyster sauce ( this is one of my fav. Seasoning to put on the scrambled egg)
1 carrots
1 tb of soy sauce
And the aromatics (onion and garlic)
The only cabbage we have was just a half since we use it in our boiled beef soup. I placed my cellphone on the side and I keep reading on the step by step process.
The second thing I did was slicing all the ingredients, carrots, cabbage and the aromatics. I just used the plate to cut the veggies since the chopping board was left at our old house.
Third step, you will fried the egg first since you will mix it if the veggies will soften. It will serve as the meat on your dish and this makes your dish tasty. Then set aside this egg.
I took a picture of myself cooking with this egg and I look so ugly hahahha. Sorry if it looks so dirty to you since for now we didn't have a proper kitchen. My father didn't have a plan to make a proper kitchen and my sister just bought this stove to make our life easier.
Fourth step, sauté your aromatics when it gets golden brown you will put the carrots first.
I didn't know if I would put water on it since my friend didn't include it in the process. But as I keep thinking the carrots wouldn't be softened if there were no water on it.
Fifth step, add the cabbage when you feel the carrots get softened. You will just wait for a couple minutes until the cabbage gets softened. I add some water on it, and it gets so fast to boil.
Sixth step, add the egg that you cook earlier.
Seven steps, add the seasonings. You need to put all the oyster sauce to make it tastier. Add a little bit of magic sarap and one pinch of salt.
Charraaan!!!! The final presentation hahahha. While making this blog it made me want to cook this again. This dish was perfect for me since I've been trying to eat vegetables.
