We're going to visit one of my classmate's houses, and she's going to accompany us. We're also planning to stop by a mango tree to pick some fresh mangoes so we can have plenty of snacks for our food trip.

We're here at my classmate's grandmother's house. There are so many mango trees around, and my friend climbed up one of them to get us some fresh mangoes.

We peeled the mangoes because we couldn't wait to eat them. We just dipped them in salt with chili, and they taste good.

Afterwards, we started peeling the banana blossom( puso ng saging). To cook it right away.

One of my classmates brought this dish the banan blossom. He volunteered because they have many of banana blossoms at their place.

We all helped to prepare it so it would be ready quickly because we were getting hungry.

@Melcakes cut the banana blossom into small pieces because it makes it more delicious. The smaller the pieces, the yummier it is.

After that, she added some seasoning and mixed it all together. It smells so good, we can't wait to try it!

While @Melcakes was cutting the banana blossom, one of my classmates made gulaman. This way, we won't feel too thirsty or choked while eating.

We're starting to cook the banana blossom, and it smells amazing. I used to not like banana blossom, but after trying it when my classmates cooked it in our classroom, I realized how delicious it can be.

Thanks to @dayanars, she brought some junk food so we wouldn't get too hungry while we're waiting for our food to cook.

Before we ate, @melcakes cut the gulaman into pieces, but they ended up being really big cuts.

😊 Fresh mangoes are indeed the best, especially with that salt and chili dip! We had such a blast bonding over food and trying out new recipes like the banana blossom dish.

There are plenty of dishes that we can make using the banana blossom (puso ng saging).

Yesss, there's a lot but this is our favorite way of cooking banana blossom how about u have you tried cooking banana blossom yourself?

Sharing food with friends it's always a nice experience, looks you all enjoyed food and company 💯💯

Yess its true

I'm always interested in posts about foods that aren't available where I live. 😊 Mangoes are usually expensive because we import them. It's nice to share food with people you love!
